Responsibilities

  • Teach one 3-credit section of CFM 445: Construction Company Operations and Management (Winter 2027).
  • Class taught in-person twice weekly (Mon/Wed; 2:00–3:15 PM).
  • Provide office consultations and student mentoring.
  • Prepare supplements to course materials.
  • Evaluate student work.
  • Administer exams.
  • Adjuncts do not attend faculty meetings or expected to participate in research/citizenship duties.

Job Title: Adjunct Teaching - Civil & Construction Engineering - CFM 445: Construction Company Operations and ManagementPosting End Date: October 21, 2026*NOTE: Last day to apply is Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 11:59pm (MT)Position Start Date: January 6, 2027Course Description: Organizing, controlling, and directing operations of construction companies; financial management, budgeting, cash-flow analysis, purchasing and cost control, and business planning. Students apply ethics, human resources, managerial accounting, and risk management principles, culminating in a comprehensive company business planRequired Degree:Master's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A PhD in a similar area is preferred. The required degree must be completed by the start date.Experience:A minimum of 5 years of professional construction management experience, including company-level operations or financial management.Duties/Expectations:Teach one 3-credit section of CFM 445: Construction Company Operations and Management (Winter 2027).
