Job summary

Campbell University is building a pool of adjunct instructors for the Master of Trust and Wealth Management program. Positions focus on online instruction within 8-week terms, with master’s degree requirements and regional experience in North Carolina or northern South Carolina.

Applicants should have extensive subject matter expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a Christian university framework.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in one of the MTWM related fields or a related field.
• Terminal degree (PhD or JD) preferred but not required.
• Relevant professional work experience.
• Experience in higher education or non-profit settings and/or teaching adults.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum with clear learning objectives.
• Manage course materials and textbooks as assigned by the department chair.
• Administer tests and assignments to measure learning outcomes.
• Post grades in Blackboard and campus self-service portal.
• Maintain timely communications with students and staff at all times.
• Interact with students professionally and respond to questions about the subject matter.
• Assess participation and performance of students.
• Administer exams according to university guidelines.
• Complete student record keeping in a timely and accurate manner.
• Attend departmental and faculty meetings as requested.
• Uphold confidentiality and maintain professional demeanor.
• Support Campbell University policies, including FERPA and Title IX.
