Job summary

Campbell University seeks candidates for an Adjunct Faculty Pool - Multiple Positions in the Adult & Online Education department. Roles include in-person instruction at Sampson and Anson Correctional Institutions, Fort Liberty, Pope, Camp Lejeune, and military campuses with evening sessions and online options.

Applicants must hold a graduate degree (with 18 graduate hours) in Psychology or Cybersecurity, teaching experience in adult or higher education, and be able to travel to Buies Creek, NC

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in relevant field and 18 graduate hours from regionally accredited university.
• Teaching experience in traditional and/or online education is desired.
• Experience with Blackboard learning management system is desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage course materials from learning objectives and provided textbooks.
• Teach through remote/synchronous platforms (Blackboard Ultra, Zoom, Teams) and on-site as needed.
• Select and administer tests, assignments, and online discussions to measure objectives.
• Complete Powell training prior to teaching the course.
• Evaluate and post grades in Blackboard Grade Center and Self-Service portal.
• Maintain professional communication with students and staff; respond to inquiries within 24 hours.
