Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in marriage and family therapy from a COAMFTE-accredited program.
• Current licensure as a marriage and family therapist.
• Current designation as an AAMFT Approved Supervisor or Supervisor Candidate.
• Graduate-level preparation and professional expertise for the assigned course.
• Knowledge of systemic and relational theories, MFT practice, ethics, and culturally responsive care.
• Relevant clinical, teaching, research, or professional experience.
• Previous graduate-level teaching experience, preferably online or hybrid.
• Experience teaching or supervising from a systemic and relational perspective.

Responsibilities

• Teach MMFT courses online in asynchronous, synchronous, or combined formats.
• Deliver course content in accordance with approved syllabi, program outcomes, and COAMFTE standards.
• Integrate systemic and relational theory, ethics, research, and cultural responsiveness into instruction.
• Foster student learning through discussions, case analyses, and online activities.
• Maintain an active, consistent presence in the online classroom and provide feedback.
• Evaluate student performance fairly using course and program criteria.
• Respond to student communications within established timeframes.
• Collaborate with the Program Director, clinical leadership, core faculty, adjunct faculty, and university staff.
• Demonstrate professional conduct aligned with Campbellsville University’s mission.
