Job summary

William & Mary is recruiting an adjunct pool for teaching positions in elementary and secondary education, ESL/bilingual education, and special education. Appointments are limited to specified terms and may include Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027.

We will not sponsor work visas for this position; this is a pooled, on-demand opportunity accessed as needed. Qualifications include a terminal degree in education or related field, with teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred: college/university teaching experience in education or related field.
• Successful completion of a terminal degree in education or related field or qualifications matching the Faculty Qualifications Manual for Alternate Methods of Qualifying Faculty to Teach.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill all aspects of the designated course outline
• Grade assignments and exams in a timely manner
• Respond to student inquiries in a timely manner
• Submit final grades according to the School of Education policy
