Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician must be nationally certified (PTCB) and Virginia registration or pharmacist license.
• Five+ years of pharmacy technician experience; sterile compounding is a plus.
• Ability to deliver instruction in classroom, online, and lab environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a virtual environment using multiple software programs.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 12 credits per semester (fall/spring); may include day, evening, weekend, off-campus, or distance education courses.
• Prepare syllabi, exams, and learning activities aligned with outcomes.
• Support student success and integrate technology into instruction.
• Collaborate with college community to meet departmental goals.
