Job summary

Baptist Health Sciences University seeks an Adjunct Instructor for the Nuclear Medicine Technology program. The instructor will teach nuclear pharmacy principles, radiopharmaceutical preparation, radiation safety, regulatory compliance, QA, and clinical applications, aligning with JRCNMT standards.

Responsibilities include assessing student competency and collaborating with faculty to update course materials; a PharmD or CNMT/ARRT credential with teaching capability is required.

Qualifications

• Meets one of the qualification pathways: Pharmacist with PharmD and 3+ years nuclear pharmacy or Nuclear Medicine Technologist with CNMT/ARRT and 5+ years experience.
• Pharmacist pathway requires licensed pharmacist in good standing and nuclear pharmacy experience.
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist pathway requires CNMT/ARRT credential and experience in nuclear medicine/nuclear pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administering program rules, regulations and policies per JRCNMT standards.
• Provide instruction in nuclear pharmacy principles, radiopharmaceutical preparation, radiation safety and QA.
• Assess competency of Nuclear Medicine Technology students and contribute to course material updates.

Education

PharmD or equivalent

Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related teaching discipline

Master’s degree in teaching or related field
