Qualifications

  • Hold PharmD or equivalent degree with licensure
  • Three years in nuclear pharmacy practice
  • Licensed Pharmacist in good standing
  • Or hold bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology with five years in nuclear medicine/nuclear pharmacy
  • Credentialed CNMT and/or RT(N)(ARRT) in good standing

Responsibilities

  • Assist with administering the Nuclear Medicine Technology program rules, regulations, and policies in compliance with current standards
  • Provide instruction in the principles and practice of nuclear pharmacy, including radiopharmaceutical preparation, radiation safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and clinical applications
  • Assess competency of Nuclear Medicine Technology students
  • Cooperate with program faculty in periodic review/assessment and revision of course materials
  • Demonstrate knowledge of education content for a bachelor’s degree Nuclear Medicine Technology program
