Job summary

San Mateo County Community College District is seeking a Part-Time Multimedia Instructor to teach college courses in multimedia and web design. Faculty assist in curriculum revisions, consult with students during office and lab hours, and keep current with industry technologies.

The position is designated Exempt under the FLSA and paid on the adjunct salary schedule with lab and lecture rate ranges. Appointments are on an as-needed semester basis; Mandated Reporter status applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher with 2 years of professional experience, or associate with 6 years of experience.
• Master's degree requires professional teaching experience.
• Equivalency supported by transcripts or evidence may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach college courses in multimedia and/or web design.
• Assist in curriculum revisions and new course development.
• Consult with students during office and lab hours.
• Maintain expertise in current technologies.
• Perform other duties as required by contract and institutional needs.
