Qualifications

• Master's or higher in English, literature, comparative literature, or composition.
• Bachelor's in any of the above AND Master's or higher in linguistics, TESL, speech, education with a specialization in reading, creative writing, or journalism.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and equity-minded practice with diverse community college students.

Responsibilities

• Teach developmental and transfer composition, workplace writing, and/or literature courses.
• Teach in the Writing Center and collaborate with faculty to support student retention.
• Engage students actively using inclusive teaching methods and provide substantive feedback.
