Job summary

Motlow State Community College seeks an Adjunct Medical Laboratory Technician Faculty to teach and support students across multiple campuses. This pool position delivers instruction per catalog descriptions and syllabi, and provides guidance on course content and career goals.

Minimum qualifications: associate degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution and 1–3 years of clinical laboratory experience. Preferred: bachelor’s degree plus three years of CC teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Medical Lab Technician or a qualifying field; 1–3 years clinical lab experience.
• Qualifying fields include Medical Lab Technician or Scientist; Clinical Lab Technician or Scientist.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and three years of community college teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned per catalog description and approved course syllabus.
• Travel to multiple campuses as assigned.
• Collaborate with faculty and leadership about curricular issues and needs.
• Stay current with developments in the discipline and incorporate updates into instruction.
• Support curricular and co-curricular activities within the college.
• Teach up to 12 credit hours per semester.
