Job summary

Motlow State Community College is seeking an Adjunct Chemistry Lab (pool) to provide high-quality instruction in chemistry labs. The role supports the college catalog and course syllabi, and may involve teaching dual enrollment at area high schools.

Faculty collaborate with colleagues and leadership to enhance curricular and programmatic outcomes, and may travel to multiple campuses as assigned. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a Science discipline; teaching experience is

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a Science discipline from a regionally accredited institution by the appointment date.
Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Teach courses as assigned in accordance with the catalog description and the approved course syllabus.
Teach dual enrollment classes at area high schools as assigned.
Travel to multiple campuses as assigned.
Collaborate collegially with faculty, department lead/program director, and academic leadership about curricular and programmatic issues and needs.
Collaborate collegially with faculty, administration and staff to support students and college goals.
Teach up to 12 credit hours per semester as assigned.
