Job summary

The University System of New Hampshire's UNH Manchester College of Professional Studies invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach undergraduate Mechanical Engineering Technology courses and labs beginning the fall semester. Courses include Fluids and Heat Transfer, Control Systems, Material Science and Mechanical Design.

These are 16-week, on-campus offerings. Responsibilities include lectures, in-person sessions, and labs; maintain course materials in the LMS; proctor exams

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Prior college teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to teach and mentor students in a laboratory setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and current technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 3-hour weekly lectures with two 1-hour in-person sessions per week and 2-hour weekly laboratory sessions.
• Maintain course materials through the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Proctor exams, grade homework and laboratory reports in a timely manner.
