The Pennsylvania State University is seeking qualified adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate courses in personal financial planning and financial literacy. Courses are taught in person at University Park with hybrid delivery possible depending on departmental needs.
Responsibilities include delivering instruction, supporting student learning, developing applied activities, grading, maintaining records in Canvas, and offering weekly office hours.
The Workforce Education and Development (WFED) program seeks qualified adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate general education courses related to personal financial planning, financial literacy, and money management for the workforce. These courses serve students across all academic backgrounds and are designed to build foundational financial knowledge and quantitative reasoning skills relevant to career entry and long-term financial wellbeing. Courses may focus on topics such as personal financial planning, financial decision-making for working adults, financial wellbeing for the workforce, and related subject areas. Courses are expected to be delivered in-person at University Park, with hybrid delivery possible depending on departmental needs.
Master’s degree in:
Experience teaching or training young adults or adults.
This is a part-time wage appointment, assigned for a single academic semester and contingent upon student enrollment and available funding. Reappointment may be possible based on enrollment needs, performance, and departmental priorities. Delivery is expected to be in-person or hybrid.
