WEATHERFORD COLLEGE in Texas is seeking qualified applicants for adjunct instructor positions. Instructors will teach courses and mentor students in various modalities including face-to-face, hybrid, and online.

Weatherford College occasionally has openings for adjunct instructors. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply for this continuous recruitment adjunct faculty position within the department. Applying for an adjunct appointment adds the applicant to a pool which is available to the departmental search committee for consideration if a need arises during the academic year. When an opening occurs, the hiring manager will draw from the pool of applicants on an as‑needed basis. Primary duties include teaching courses, providing instruction to facilitate student acquisition of specific learning outcomes, and mentoring students inside and outside of the classroom. The adjunct faculty member creates and maintains an effective learning environment in the modalities of the courses assigned. Teaching modalities may be face‑to‑face, hybrid, online/Zoom, or within the context of dual credit instruction. Hours vary, depending on the need and course schedule, and may include day, evening, and/or weekend instruction. Flexibility to teach evenings, Fridays, or weekend courses is preferred.
All faculty members must provide SACS credential standards. Candidates must have an earned Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester credit hours in the discipline. Transcripts, certificates, and/or license must be submitted with application.
