WEATHERFORD COLLEGE is seeking qualified adjunct instructors to teach courses in various modalities including face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in the teaching discipline and at least four semester hours of post-secondary instructional experience.
The role includes creating effective learning environments, assessing student performance, and providing timely feedback. This position also requires adherence to college policies and procedures, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive academic community.
Flexibility to teach evenings, Fridays, or weekends is preferred. Candidates must be prepared to submit transcripts and other credentials with their application.
Weatherford College occasionally has openings for adjunct instructors. This continuous recruitment adjunct faculty position is open to qualified applicants. The role includes teaching courses in the approved discipline, facilitating student acquisition of specific learning outcomes, mentoring students inside and outside the classroom, and maintaining an effective learning environment in face‑to‑face, hybrid, online/Zoom, or dual‑credit modalities. Hours vary by need and may include day, evening, and/or weekend instruction. Flexibility to teach evenings, Fridays, or weekend courses is preferred.
All faculty members must provide minimum Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) credential standards, normally including an earned Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline. Transcripts, certificates, and/or license must be submitted with the application.
At least four (4) semester hours of instructional experience at the post‑secondary level are preferred.
