Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) invites qualified candidates to join the Rehab Counseling program as adjunct instructors for undergraduate and graduate courses. Interviews may be conducted, and applications stay active for up to one year from posting.

Adjunct Professors will deliver courses in the Community Mental Health Services minor and the Master’s program, utilizing hybrid and virtual teaching methods and drawing on real-world community-based experience.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s in Rehabilitation and/or Mental Health Counseling required.
• Ability to develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate coursework.
• Experience teaching undergraduate or graduate courses in the topical areas to be delivered.
• At least five years working in Rehabilitation/Mental Health Counseling and related settings.
• Experience working with graduate students in an instructional capacity.
• Content expertise in the course topic.
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Teach undergraduate courses as part of the Community Mental Health Services minor.
• Teach graduate courses as part of the Master’s in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling program.
• Demonstrate strong teaching skills and knowledge of hybrid/virtual instruction.
• Foster an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with faculty, staff, and students.
