University of La Verne invites applications for part-time lecturers to teach graduate courses in child and adolescent development. This is a continuous recruitment for an application pool to fill part-time adjunct assignments on an as-needed basis.

Applications are accepted year-round and will remain in the pool. The Child and Adolescent Development Master’s Program in the LaFetra College of Education seeks qualified instructors with a commitment to student success and inclusive teaching.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Child Development, Human Development, Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Experience teaching and working with diverse populations.
• Experience teaching at the collegiate level.
• Doctoral degree in Child Development, Human Development, Education, Psychology, or related field (preferred).
• Preference given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching, scholarship, and mentoring (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate courses in child and adolescent development.
• Engage in scholarly mentorship and student advising as part of the adjunct role.
• Maintain readiness for open-ended, as-needed teaching assignments throughout the pool.
