The Nido R. Qubein School of Communication at High Point University seeks an Adjunct Communication and Business Leadership (CBL) Instructor to teach a course, Persuasion and Negotiation (CBL 5200) starting January 6, 2027. The course description states that business people need analytical skills to discover optimal solutions to problems but need persuasion and negotiation skills to get them implemented. The course asks students to learn persuasion and negotiation skills experientially and to understand communication strategies via analytical and theoretical frameworks. The class emphasizes readings, simulations, exercises, and case study analysis.
Successful applicants will be assigned to teach this course as a hybrid online with in-person meetings for High Point University in the upcoming Spring 2026 semester or placed in our adjunct pool for future consideration to teach additional CBL courses.
