The course description states that business people need analytical skills to discover optimal solutions to problems but need persuasion and negotiation skills to get them implemented. The course asks students to learn persuasion and negotiation skills experientially and to understand communication strategies via analytical and theoretical frameworks.
The class emphasizes readings, simulations, exercises, and case study analysis. Successful applicants will be assigned to teach this course as a hybrid online with in-person meetings for High Point University in the upcoming Spring 2026 semester or placed in our adjunct pool for future consideration to teach additional CBL courses.
