Job Summary

Adjunct Nursing Instructor for Fall Semester 2026 to teach various Nursing courses, days and times to be determined, daytime and evening hours.

Essential Functions

Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
3 years clinical work experience related to teaching assignment.
BCLS certification.
Iowa RN license or ability to obtain prior to start of employment.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds.
