To teach courses in Music in accordance with the Adjunct Facultycollective bargaining agreement ( CBA ), additionalresponsibilities may include participation in departmentalinitiatives, such as assessment, and responding to requestsregarding grades, grade submissions, course-related content, andother duties. Adjuncts may also be asked to show evidence ofacademic achievement and/or recognition by professional andcommunity organizations. Woodwind specialist provides specializedinstruction.
Master’s Degree in Music required.
Prior college or university teaching experience preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of discipline including current developmentsand technologies in related fields of specialization. Strong verbaland written communication skills. Proficient in woodwindinstruments, particularly saxophone and clarinet.
