County College of Morris Foundation is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach Music with a Woodwind Specialization (Saxophone and Clarinet). The position supports the Music, Performance Arts & Music Tech department and operates under the Adjunct Faculty collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Music is required.
• Prior college or university teaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of discipline including current developments and technologies in related fields of specialization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in woodwind instruments, particularly saxophone and clarinet.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in Music in accordance with the Adjunct Faculty collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
• Participate in departmental initiatives such as assessment, responding to requests regarding grades, grade submissions, course-related content, and other duties.
• Adjuncts may also be asked to show evidence of academic achievement and/or recognition by professional and community organizations.
• Provide specialized instruction as the Woodwind specialist (saxophone and clarinet).
