Job Summary

To teach courses in Music in accordance with the Adjunct Faculty collective bargaining agreement ( CBA ), additional responsibilities may include participation in departmental initiatives, such as assessment, and responding to requests regarding grades, grade submissions, course-related content, and other duties. Adjuncts may also be asked to show evidence of academic achievement and/or recognition by professional and community organizations. Woodwind specialist provides specialized instruction.

Qualifications - Education

Master’s Degree in Music required.

Qualifications - Experience

Prior college or university teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications - Skills

Demonstrated knowledge of discipline including current developments and technologies in related fields of specialization. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in woodwind instruments, particularly saxophone and clarinet.
