Position Summary Information General Description of Position Under the general direction and supervision of the Director of Leisure Learning, the Adjunct of Leisure Learning will conduct a class related to their expertise. The Continuing Education Division Leisure Learning program is continuously seeking part-time instructors to teach non-credit/community educational offerings in the area of leisure learning. Opportunities vary widely. If you have a self-designed curriculum you would like to propose for the division, please complete the application. Class selection is made on a term-by-term basis.
The Leisure Learning program seeks qualified instructors to provide affordable, varied, and outstanding non-credit lifelong learning opportunities to Lincoln/Lancaster County residents.
Adjunct instructors provide local residents with positive educational experiences, teach valuable new skills, and provide community involvement.
Proposals will be considered for additional review based on factors including but not limited to community demand, relevance to SCC Continuing Education objectives, existing courses, and the course’s potential for cost recovery.
Application and class proposals do not guarantee acceptance.
