Division: College of Science, Engineering & Mathematics (CSEM)

Job Summary: This is a part-time Adjunct teaching position in the Department of Integrated Environmental Science / Natural Sciences.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate level courses in Integrated Environmental Science.
• Must hold a Master’s degree or a Ph.D. in environmental science, ecology, earth science, or a closely related field. Preferred areas include environmental systems, field ecology, environmental policy, GIS and remote sensing, and environmental chemistry.

Required Skills / Abilities

Familiarity with learning management systems (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.). Experience with field-based instruction and data collection is preferred.

Education and Experience

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in environmental science, ecology, earth science, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong commitment to teaching at a liberal arts school. Evidence of successful teaching at the college level is required.
