The College of Coastal Georgia Department of Natural Sciences seeks qualified applicants for the part time applicant pool for Part Time Instructor of Environmental Science. This is an applicant pool for teaching in the School of Arts & Sciences. Applicants will be reviewed on an as-needed basis and hiring may occur up to the start date of a given semester.
The successful candidate will teach Environmental Science and/or Geology courses (lecture and/or laboratory) contingent on their expertise and the needs of the College. Essential duties include maintaining office hours, preparing lesson plans, lectures, and other course materials such as quizzes and exams, and submission of final grades and attendance reports.
Successful completion of background investigation and legal authorization to work in the United States prior to employment. Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of background investigation including a criminal background check demonstrating eligibility for employment with the College of Coastal Georgia, confirmation of credentials and employment history reflected in your application materials, and, if applicable, a satisfactory credit check.
