Job Summary

This is a part-time Adjunct teaching position in the Department of Natural Sciences.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Successful candidates will be expected to teach at the undergraduate level.
• Preferred candidates must hold a Master's degree or a Ph.D. in a biological science, with desired specialties in anatomy and physiology, microbiology, and plant biology.

Required Skills/Abilities

Familiarity with learning management systems (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.)

Education and Experience

• Applicants should have a Master's degree or a PhD in a biological science.
• Applicants should have a strong commitment to teaching at a liberal arts school. Evidence of successful teaching at the college level is required.
• The candidate must be prepared to affirm and support the Christian and liberal arts mission of Bethune‑Cookman University.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
