Malcolm X College invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor - Non-Union in Child Development Studies. Design courses, engage diverse learners, and assess outcomes using approved syllabi. Responsibilities include online and in-person instruction, maintaining records, and conference hours weekly.

Requires Master’s in related field and commitment to open-access education. Salary: $800–$943 per contact hour.

Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education and Teaching, Education, or a related field.
Knowledge of Brightspace Learning Management System or similar LMS.
Experience with online teaching (via Zoom) or online teaching certification is preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to work with diverse staff and students.

Use formative and summative assessments to measure student learning and outcomes.
