Job Description Summary

Candidates should be passionate educators and practitioners who can facilitate the needs of diverse 21stcentury learners who aspire to practice in respective field. Broward College places special importance on helping under‑prepared students achieve academic success. Candidates should demonstrate (1) a mastery of their specific discipline; (2) a deep commitment to the college mission of fostering student success, achievement and persistence; (3) technology competencies as well as teaching/counseling skills and strategies that facilitate 21stcentury literacies; (4) the use of resources that prepare students for productive lives; (5) experience using various educational technological mediums.

Minimum Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Aviation or a related field AND 5years work experience in field.
• Graduate Degree in Aviation or a related field OR Graduate Degree and 18 graduate credit hours in aviation coursework preferred.

Minimum Experience/Training

• Prior college teaching experience is preferred.

The successful candidate must be willing and able to teach in both the traditional face‑to‑face and blended (hybrid) format. All schedules require office hours and some may require evening and/or weekend hours.

Position Details

Part‑time, Position Number P0091010, Salary Range $2,226.00 – $2,506.02 (Salary commensurate with education and experience). Posting End Date: Open Until Filled. Work Schedule: Monday‑Friday/weekend/varies.
