Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a qualifying field or Associate degree or higher with demonstrated competencies.
Candidates without the Associate degree may be considered with documentation of professional certification, professional employment/experience, teaching excellence, or other competencies.

Responsibilities

Plan and teach classes as assigned and per course syllabi and departmental guidelines.
Begin and end all classes as scheduled and cover all learning outcomes.
Maintain academic standards and classroom behavior to support learning and respond to student emails promptly.
Evaluate students using diverse methods and report scores promptly.
Use Cleveland State email for administrative tasks and respond to student inquiries via email.
Meet deadlines for administrative tasks such as contracts, reports, and final grades.
Submit requests for equipment, supplies, and textbooks through the department chair or lead teacher.
