Cleveland State Community College invites qualified instructors to join a pool of adjunct faculty for Advanced Technologies. Instructors teach across various formats and locations, including online, and manage duties from lesson planning to timely grading and student communication.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or higher (or an Associate with demonstrated competencies). The role includes courses in industrial safety, circuits, print reading, fluid power, PLCs, and
Instructors provide quality instruction for student learning and maintain a positive learning environment in the class. The major emphasis for instructors is on teaching and evaluating students in the course. Classes are taught in a variety of formats and at several different locations, as well as online. Instructors also communicate with students between classes and are responsible for several administrative duties such as reporting on academic activity and submitting final grades.
Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited institution in a qualifying field or Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution in a qualifying field along with demonstrated competencies in the field (see below).

Areas of teaching emphasis include one or more of the following disciplines: industrial safety, AC and DC circuits, electrical/mechanical print reading, fluid power (pneumatics and hydraulics), technical calculations, electrical motor controls, PLCs, and mechatronics.
Qualifying Fields include Engineering/Engineering Technologies, Electrical/Electronics/Industrial/Mechanical or other closely related field.
