Job summary

Touro University is seeking an Adjunct faculty member for the Applied Behavior Analysis program in New York. The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree and a BCBA or BCBA-D. Responsibilities include teaching graduate level courses, preparing materials, and supporting student learning.

The part-time position involves flexible hours totaling 7.5 hours per week and offers a maximum salary of $4,250.00 per semester. Ideal candidates should have experience in multicultural settings and strong interpersonal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in behavior analysis, education, or psychology with a concentration in Behavior Analysis.
• BCBA or BCBA-D with supervision training required, and New York LBA license eligibility.
• Experience teaching applied behavior analysis at the graduate level.

Responsibilities

• Teach a minimum of one graduate-level course in MS and Adv. Certificate programs.
• Prepare course materials such as syllabi and homework assignments.
• Support students' learning goals and assist them in achieving their outcomes.

Competence in technology as an educational tool

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent organization skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

SPSS skills

Knowledge of the CANVAS educational platform

Research skills using Internet journal library and Google Scholar

Education
