Job summary

Concordia University Wisconsin is seeking an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Theology to teach The Bible and/or Christian Faith for Fall 2025 and/or Spring 2026 on the Mequon campus. The position emphasizes faith-based undergraduate instruction consistent with LCMS values.

Qualified candidates will hold a Master’s degree, be an ordained LCMS minister, and demonstrate effective teaching ability at the undergraduate level, with strong written and oral communication skills.

Position Summary

Concordia University seeks qualified applicants for the position of Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Theology. Teaching responsibilities include The Bible and/or Christian Faith in the Fall 2025 and/or Spring 2026 semesters on the Mequon campus

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Provides a quality learning experience for students on a semester basis.
• Adjunct faculty reports to the chair and performs instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies, and procedures of the university
• All other duties as assigned

• Demonstrates effective leadership, organizational skills, and is a self-starter

Education & Experience

• Masters Degree Required
• Status as an ordained minister of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod or of a sister synod in fellowship with the LCMS
• Effective teaching ability at the undergraduate level
