Job summary

Concordia University Wisconsin and Ann Arbor (CUWAA) invites qualified professionals to join the School of Health Professions as adjunct faculty. Adjunct instructors will contribute to a Christ-centered mission, mentoring students and delivering courses across certificate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs.

This nine-month contract role offers opportunities to share professional experiences and support student learning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in subject to be taught or related.
• 5+ years of university-level teaching experience preferred.
• Professional experience in subject to be taught.
• Ability to mentor students and model Christian values.

Responsibilities

• Assist in student advising and mentoring.
• Responsible for meeting with assigned students throughout the semester.
• Provides a quality learning experience for students on a semester basis.
• Adjunct faculty reports to the chair and performs instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies, and procedures of the university

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in student advising and mentoring
• Responsible for meeting with assigned students throughout the semester
• Provides a quality learning experience for students on a semester basis.
• Adjunct faculty reports to the chair and performs instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies, and procedures of the university
• All other duties as assigned
