Ivy Tech Community College seeks qualified adjunct faculty to support Surgical Technology instruction at the Evansville, IN campus. This in-person role requires teaching on campus with additional travel to clinical sites as needed.
The position is part-time, term-by-term based on demand. Responsibilities include delivering instruction, using Blackboard/PowerPoint, and maintaining attendance/grades per college policies.
Ivy Tech seeks qualified adjunct faculty to supplement the Surgical Technology instruction needs of our students at the Evansville, IN campus. This is an in person role based on the Evansville, IN campus. Students in this program may go on to work in Hospitals, Surgery Centers, Specialized Surgeon Offices, or in Medical Sales. Adjunct Faculty positions are temporary, part‑time positions hired each semester on an as‑needed basis.
The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals; and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided by the School.
Candidates considered for adjunct positions under this posting must be able to provide instruction in person at the Evansville, IN campus.
$45.00 per contact hour (approximately $2,160 per 8-week course)
This class is scheduled to run during the second fall term beginning on October 26th, 2026. These classes run 2 days a week 6 hours per day daytime clinical days beginning at 6am to 3 pm.
