Summary

Our faculty are dedicated to high-quality teaching for our diverse student population. We strive to facilitate student success in learning and meet the individual educational needs of each student.

The successful candidate will be committed to teaching in a multicultural environment and willing to work with students with diverse learning abilities. Teaching opportunities may include flexible schedules during days, evenings, and weekends. Adjuncts can teach up to two undergraduate courses per semester.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Adjunct Faculty are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, and/or clinical settings. Courses may be conducted in various formats, including in-person, online, hybrid, or blended, with a preference for in-person instruction. Responsibilities also include student evaluation, departmental communication, and timely, accurate submission of required paperwork.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in psychology or a closely related field preferred; Master's degree acceptable
• Enthusiasm for collegiate teaching
• Availability to teach face-to-face at specified times, including:
• PSYCH 110: Psychology in Film: M 2-4:50 pm, T 2-4:50 pm, W 2-4:50 pm, Th 2-4:50 pm
• PSYCH 120: Psychology in Your Life: MW 2-3:20 pm, 3:30-4:50 pm; TTh 11-12:20 pm, 12:30-1:50 pm; TTh 2-3:20 pm, 3:30-4:50 pm
