This is a part-time, non-benefited faculty position supporting course instruction, grading, and student inquiries, with contracts for one semester and renewal by interview. The department will contact qualified applicants as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, or a related field, with experience in teaching and instruction.
• Ph.D. or other doctoral degree in Psychology, or a related discipline or directly related to the position.

Job description

The Department of Psychology in the College of Humanities and Sciences at Virginia Commonwealth University is recruiting a pool of applicants on an ongoing basis for adjunct teaching positions for graduate and undergraduate courses. The Department of Psychology will consult the adjunct applicant pool and contact qualified applicants for interviews as needed.

• Previous experience teaching Psychology courses at VCU.

Salary Range

Starting at $1,487 per credit hour
