Job summary

Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) invites applications for an adjunct faculty pool in Nutrition, Public and Community Health. Positions are part-time, appointed per course per semester, with responsibilities including teaching developmental and college-level courses and possibly distance-learning.

Courses may be scheduled weekdays, evenings, and weekends; primarily face-to-face with some remote instruction potential.

Piedmont Virginia Community College ( PVCC ) is a nonresidential two-year institution of higher education that serves Central Virginia – principally residents of the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson. Our scenic campus is located in Albemarle County, Virginia. We are one of 23 community colleges in Virginia that comprise the Virginia Community College System ( VCCS ).

Required Qualifications

• The successful candidate will possess expert skills, knowledge, experience and education in the subject area and a history of successful teaching or related experience.
