Job summary

Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is seeking adjunct faculty in Engineering to join our pool for future teaching assignments. Responsibilities include teaching developmental and/or college-level engineering courses, with day and evening offerings and possible distance-learning options.

Piedmont Virginia Community College ( PVCC ) is a nonresidential two-year institution of higher education that serves Central Virginia – principally residents of the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson. Our scenic campus is located in Albemarle County, Virginia. We are one of 23 community colleges in Virginia that comprise the Virginia Community College System ( VCCS ). Piedmont Virginia Community College ( PVCC ) is a public, comprehensive community college. As part of the 23 college Virginia Community College System, PVCC serves the city of Charlottesville and the six adjacent counties. PVCC is nationally recognized for its outstanding transfer curriculum; its relationship with its neighbor, the University of Virginia; and its Workforce Development Programs serving local employers. KSA's/Required Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess expert skills, knowledge, experience and education in the subject area and a history of successful teaching or related experience. Minimum Education Required- Masters in an Engineering Field
