Cleveland State Community College seeks adjunct faculty for First Year Seminar. Instructors provide quality instruction, manage learning environments, and perform academic reporting duties, including grading and communications via college email.

Instructors provide quality instruction for student learning and maintain a positive learning environment in the class. The major emphasis for instructors is on teaching and evaluating students in the course. Classes are taught in a variety of formats and at several different locations, as well as online. Instructors also communicate with students between classes and are responsible for several administrative duties such as reporting on academic activity and submitting final grades.
Applicants should indicate in their cover letter whether they are interested and available for on-ground, online, or both teaching formats.
A Master’s degree in a qualifying field from an accredited institution or Master’s degree from an accredited institution with 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of related qualifying fields. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a recent working knowledge of Cleveland State Community College’s campus and culture. Experience with alternative delivery instructional modes (hybrid, online, interactive, etc.) is preferred but not required.
