Cleveland State Community College is inviting applications for an Adjunct Faculty Pool in Music. Instructors provide instruction, maintain a positive learning environment, and communicate with students across on-ground or online formats.
Applicants should indicate availability for on-ground, online, or both formats. Responsibilities include planning and teaching, meeting deadlines for administrative tasks, and evaluating student performance.

Instructors provide quality instruction for student learning and maintain a positive learning environment in the class. The major emphasis for instructors is on teaching and evaluating students in the course. Classes are taught in a variety of formats and at several different locations, as well as online. Instructors also communicate with students between classes and are responsible for several administrative duties such as reporting on academic activity and submitting final grades.
Applicants should indicate in their cover letter whether they are interested and available for on-ground, online, or both teaching formats.
A Master’s degree in a qualifying field from a regionally accredited institution or Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of related qualifying fields. Three years teaching experience preferred. Experience with alternative delivery instructional modes recommended – hybrid, online, interactive, etc.

Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis, which may include fall, spring and summer.
