Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is a nonresidential two-year institution of higher education that serves Central Virginia – principally residents of the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson. We are seeking to identify qualified and interested adjunct faculty members in the following teaching disciplines and/or subject areas: ENGINEERING
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
The successful candidate will possess expert skills, knowledge, experience and education in the subject area and a history of successful teaching or related experience.
Official transcripts are required upon employment. Foreign transcripts must be evaluated by an accredited evaluation service.
Two years teaching experience, work experience in the field, and experience with on-line teaching.
Operation of a State Vehicle No Supervises Employees No Required Travel
To and from any college campus/site location as assigned.
References & criminal background checks required.
