Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to join its Geology pool to teach courses at Albemarle and other PVCC locations. The position may include teaching development and college-level geology, with potential distance-learning options.
Applicants should hold a Master’s in Geology (or a Master’s with 18 graduate hours in Geology) and have at least two years of teaching or related field experience; online teaching experience is a plus.

We are seeking to identify qualified and interested adjunct faculty members in the following teaching disciplines and/or subject areas: GEOLOGY
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
The successful candidate will possess expert skills, knowledge, experience and education in the subject area and a history of successful teaching or related experience.
Minimum education required- Master’s in Geology or master’s degree and 18 graduate hours in Geology.
Two years teaching experience, work experience in the field, and experience with on-line teaching.
