This posting is intended to establish a pool of qualified adjunct candidates for anticipated instructional needs for 2027. Actual hiring and course assignments are contingent upon enrollment, scheduling demands, program needs, and funding availability. As a result, there may or may not be positions filled from this posting.
Adjunct faculty members are responsible for effectively planning and teaching courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences. We are currently seeking adjunct faculty members to teach Administration of Justice courses.
Please note: This wide salary range reflects the diverse faculty ranks within the Virginia Community College System (VCCS). Final salary determination and placement within this range are based on the candidate’s academic credentials and occupational experience as evaluated via the VCCS-10 process.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
You may be expected to travel to all campus locations.
