Sauk Valley Community College, a comprehensive community college located in a picturesque rural setting invites applications from innovative individuals for Adjunct Physics Faculty.
Located in rural northwestern Illinois, along the scenic Rock River, between the cities of Dixon and Sterling; the College is one hour from Rockford and the Quad Cities and two hours west of Chicago.
To be cognizant of the philosophy and objectives of the College and use them as guidelines in planning, structuring, and teaching courses. Reports directly to the Dean of Business, Career and Technical Programs who is the supervisor over the position.
Master’s degree in physics or engineering related degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Physics is required. Experience teaching in a community college environment is preferred.
