Position Type: PT adjunct Semester: Fall 2025

Compensation: $800 - $950 per credit, based on adjunct faculty rank (determined by education and experience)

Position Overview:

NHTI is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach Dental Materials-DA. This course provides students with essential knowledge focusing on practical applications and real-world relevance in four-handed dentistry.

Course Details:

  • Course Name: Dental Materials-DA
  • Credits: 3
  • Lecture Hours: 2
  • Lab/Practicum Hours: 3
  • Schedule: Thursday 9-11:50 a.m., 1-3:50 p.m., Wednesday 5-7:50 p.m.
  • Location: NHTI Campus, Concord, NH

Course Description:

Study of the composition and properties of materials used in dentistry. Lab sessions emphasize practice in manipulation of various materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Dental Materials lab instructor using provided curriculum and instructional materials aligned with program standards.
  • Facilitate skill evaluations and hands-on skills to foster student engagement and learning.
  • Provide regular feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress.
  • Maintain professional currency in the field and comply with college policies and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Licensed Dental Hygienist in New Hampshire with a DANB CDA certification.
  • Experience: Recent experience with 4 handed chairside dentistry
  • : Must reside in NH, VT, ME.
