Assumption University seeks part-time adjunct instructors for MAT 114 (Elementary Functions) to teach in-person sections. Successful candidates will staff office hours (two hours per class section) and will join a department committed to quality teaching and student success.
Applicants with a Master’s degree or PhD in Mathematics (or related fields) are encouraged to apply. ABD graduate students with teaching experience will also be considered for this role.
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Assumption University seeks to hire part-time adjunct instructors to staff several sections of MAT 114: Elementary Functions, a course in algebra and precalculus. The courses are in-person, and all faculty are required to keep office hours: two hours per class section.
Adjuncts are welcomed as important contributors to the department and to our students. They are provided with office space, email, voicemail, support for using our learning management system (Brightspace), and other resources needed for quality teaching. Successful candidates may have the possibility of teaching additional courses in subsequent semesters.
