The Music Business program provides a well-rounded and in-depth study of the fundamentals of music business and management, focusing on how those skills can be applied in the entertainment and music industry. Throughout the degree programs, students work in a professional, project-based environment, designed to recreate the challenges and opportunities they’ll encounter in the world of entertainment business. Foundational business topics include studies in management, marketing, accounting, finance, communications, and law, laying the groundwork for more advanced industry studies including business models, global media management, digital marketing, entrepreneurship, audience metrics, and more.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of four (4) years related and verifiable work experience and required to hold a Master’s (preferred) or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Entertainment Business, Music Business, or at least 18 semester hours in a related discipline from an accredited college or university. A terminal degree is preferred.
Work is performed in an office and classroom environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active student and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
