Compensation & Benefits

Compensation varies by course content and ranges from $1,297 to $3,753 per credit. In some cases involving low enrollment, compensation may be prorated at 10% per student. Job Description

Faculty members are primarily responsible for teaching and for engaging in co‑curricular activities that support the College’s educational goals. Occasional travel may be required. Job Duties

• Teach a variety of courses in Astronomy, Geology, or Physics based on expertise.

Work Hours

Day and/or evening classes may be assigned at the Greeley campus or satellite locations in Loveland or Fort Lupton.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in meteorology, atmospheric science, earth system science, or a closely related field, including at least 12 graduate credits in discipline‑specific coursework, OR
• Master’s degree with 18 graduate‑level credits in meteorology.
• No more than 6 of the required 18 credits may be in graduate‑level science education courses.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous college‑level teaching experience.
